LATISSE
Latisse is a prescription drug prescribed specifically to grow your own natural eyelashes, which means no more false lashes and damaging extensions. Because it is a prescription you can only purchase it through a physician. Latisse contains bimatoprost, the same active ingredient that is in the glaucoma drug Lumigan. It is important to remember that Latisse is a prescription medication, so precise application is important to avoid unnecessary complications.
The most common side effects are an itching sensation in the eyes and/or eye redness. Most people who experience these report improvement after a couple weeks of use and generally go away all together. Other less common side effects typically occur on the skin close to where Latisse is applied, or in the eyes including skin darkening, eye irritation, dryness of the eyes, and redness of the eyelids. The side effects are usually mild, and the majority of people don’t find these side effects bothersome enough to discontinue treatment.
Latisse is the first and only prescription treatment approved by the FDA to enhance your own natural eyelashes to grow them longer, fuller and darker.
Latisse has helped many people by giving them the eyelashes they have always desired. Long and lush eyelashes are associated with beauty and youth. Personally, I love Latisse! I’ve been using it for approximately 1 ½ years without any bothersome side effects. I can wear my contacts everyday with no problem and the compliments I receive are priceless. No matter what your age is Latisse will work for you!

DERMAPLANING
Dermaplaning, or blading, is an exfoliating treatment performed using a scalpel to remove the skin’s top layer, along with facial hair, through controlled scraping. The treatment is comfortable, pain free, and no chemicals are used. Dermaplaning is a great option for those with darker skin types, because it is milder exfoliation than most chemical peels and less likely to produce changes and contrast in skin color. Daily use of sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher is recommended to reduce the risk of sunburn and hyperpigmentation (increased pigment) from unprotected sun exposure. Those with broken capillaries on the face can benefit from dermaplaning without the risk of further damage, unlike microdermabrasion, which can make the condition worse. Usually a series of 6 treatments is recommended for optimal results, but most people can see and feel a positive change in their skin after the first treatment.
After achieving your desired result, treatments can be ongoing to exfoliate the skin, remove excess facial hair and to maintain the smooth, healthy skin you acquired with dermaplaning!
